Key Largo will open its first new resort in more than 20 years this coming spring. The Playa Largo Resort & Spa, the newest addition to Marriott’s Autograph Collection, will be the first new build property in the Upper Keys.
Featuring a residential beach house style, the resort will provide 167 rooms and 10 private bungalows with view of Florida Bay and 745 square feet of beach. Playa Largo will span 14.5 acres and be located less than an hour from Miami. Guests will also have the option of renting the resort’s three-bedroom beach house.
Guests of the new resort will enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, fire pits, waterspouts facilities, a full-service spa, a private marina and boat launch, basketball and tennis courts, and dockside and beachside dining.
Playa Largo is scheduled to open in Key Largo in late March, but is currently taking reservations for May, 2016.
