Boston’s Fenway Park area is going to rock just a little more this summer with the opening of The Verb hotel.
Developers are wrapping up the project, which converts a former Howard Johnson into a new rock-themed hotel. The hotel walls will be covered in posters, record covers and fliers from Boston’s hey-dey as a rock-n-roll town from the 1960s through the 1990s. Ninety-four rooms will be available with Fenway Park stadium views, as well as poolside rooms with balconies or walk-out patios. Although geared at the music lover, baseball fans will love the proximity to Fenway Park, and families will love the ground-level, outdoor pool within city limits.
The hotel will open July 15, 2014, with special Grand Opening rates offering 10 percent off of rates currently available online.
