Waldameer Park and Water World has announced two new rides for 2018: Samba Balloon Ride and Cannonbowl.
The Samba Balloon Ride will be a tame ride for families and young children, with small rises and falls. On Cannonbowl, riders (two at a time) will twist and turn their way around a giant bowl before ultimately plummeting into water.
The new rides are part of a larger expansion at the amusement park, located in Erie, Pennsylvania. In 2017, the park added Battle of Lake Erie, a water playground.
