Disney Parks Update Stroller Policy

See recent posts by Amanda Norcross

Both Disney World and Disneyland have announced a change to their stroller policy, requiring that strollers be no larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long. Stroller wagons have been banned altogether.

The changes, which will take effect on May 1, are expected to improve the flow of guests throughout the parks.

Other policy changes include the elimination of smoking areas inside the parks, also effective May 1. Guests will be able to smoke outside the entrances of the parks.

Also, ice (loose or dry) is no longer permitted in the parks, effective immediately. Park guests are instead encouraged to use reusable ice packs in their coolers, or visit a quick-service location for complimentary cups of ice.
