Marvel Comic fans rejoice! Disney Cruise Line is introducing the first-ever Marvel Day at Sea on sailings from New York in 2017. Marvel Day at Sea will be an action-packed day with exclusive interactions with Marvel Super Heroes, an exciting deck party, themed kids’ programs and activities, and special merchandise and food and beverage offerings. Also offered: special at-sea screenings of new movie releases, including Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
The special Marvel sailings will take place on seven cruises aboard Disney Magic departing from New York City in the fall of 2017. Passengers will find Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and other Marvel Super Heroes in special meet and greets. Disney’s at-sea Oceaneer Club for kids will offer a Marvel’s Avengers Academy for heroes-in-training and themed games, activities and arts and crafts. Family events will include trivia games, a deck park with themed pyrotechnics, lighting, sound effects and heroes and villains, and at-sea movies.
The special sailings will be on seven- and eight-night cruises from New York to the Bahamas taking place Oct. 6, 14 and 28 and Nov. 4, 11, and 18, 2017.It will also be offered on one seven-night cruise from New York to the Canadian coast on Oct. 21, 2017.
