Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will see an end to its popular Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks display on May 11, 2017. Although the beloved evening show featuring Disney characters will be no more, on May 12, the theme park will introduce a new evening lineup: Happily Ever After.
Happily Ever After provides a fairytale ending to a day at Disney with fireworks, laser lights, projections and a dose of Disney magic. The 18-minute extravaganza will feature scenes from classic films like “The Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin” with Disney villains and heroes battling in the sky. Tinker Bell returns in this show, as well, sprinkling pixie dust across the sky at the end of the show that features more than 25 films. A score to accompany the show was recorded by a 75-piece orchestra and features hits from Disney movies.
Show times for Happily Ever After will vary based on Magic Kingdom hours.
