Following the blockbuster release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Disney Cruise Line has announced Star Wars Day at Sea to take place on select Disney Fantasy sailings.
Star Wars Day at Disney theme parks remains a hit, so Disney Cruise Line will be bringing the adventures to sea for the first time on select 2016 sailings. Taking place for just one day on each of the Disney Fantasy sailings this year, passengers will enjoy a Star Wars-themed deck party, meet and greets with characters, activities for both kids and family, entertainment and shows, special merchandise, unique food and beverage offerings, and fireworks. Guests will also be able to watch all seven Star Wars films aboard the ship, including “The Force Awakens.”
Disney Fantasy sailings will depart from Port Canaveral for a seven-night Western Caribbean itinerary. Star Wars at Sea will take place on sailings Feb. 6 and 20, Mar. 5, Apr. 2 and 16, 2016. (It also took place on its Jan. 9 sailing.)
