Discount air carrier WOW out of Iceland has been positioning itself with extremely low-cost airfares to exotic destinations. Its newest announcement begins flights to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) in Israel, with one-way fares as low as $149.
Beginning September 12, 2017, WOW will fly between Tel Aviv and Boston (BOS), Newark (EWR), Baltimore (BWI), Chicago (ORD) and Pittsburgh (PIT) from the East Coast; and Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) from the West Coast. Fares, on sale now, start at $149 from the East Coast and $199 from the West Coast, one way. As the airline carrier is based in Iceland, the flights will include connections in Reykjavik that will last from 2 to 13 hours in length, allowing passengers the opportunity to visit Iceland on their journey. The WOW Stopover includes a stop for an unlimited amount of time before heading on to the new Tel Aviv route.
WOW services 32 destinations across Europe and North America including Dublin, London, Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen.
