The New York Botanical Garden, located in the Bronx, is one of the most beloved botanical gardens in the country. This summer, it becomes an even bigger must-see with the opening of an exhibit created by world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly.
Chihuly Nights combines Chihuly’s glass sculpture with light to turn the gardens into a magical space. Visitors can see the transformation from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday nights, with Thursday evenings available in July and August. On Fridays July 14 and August 17, visit for Jazz & Chihuly with jazz bands. Kids can also explore the gardens during the day, spotting the sculptures amid the flowers between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
