Carnival Cruise Line’s new Carnival Vista ship is targeting families with one-of-a-kind features when it launches in 2016.

Set to debut with European cruise itineraries in Spring 2016 and return to the U.S. for fall/winter cruises, Carnival Vista is specifically targeting the more than 700,000 children who cruise on Carnival ships with:

Family-Friendly Cabins
An exclusive Family Harbor, located on aft Deck 2, will offer 96 rooms designed for families, including extra large family suites to accommodate families of five. Cabins will feature kid-friendly toiletries, kid-sized slippers and bathrobes, and walk-in closets for extra space. The Family Harbor Lounge will provide a dedicated family hangout with large TVs, board games and complimentary snacks and breakfast. Kids 12 and younger staying in the Family Harbor also receive free meals in specialty restaurants and one free night in Camp Ocean’s Night Owls program.

Kid-Friendly Entertainment and Play
Kids will enjoy the outdoor spaces onboard Vista, with a WaterWorks aqua park, a splash zone for little kids, the open-air SportSquare recreation area, and the new SkyRide, an aerial attraction providing panoramic views of the sea. Indoors, kids can enjoy the first IMAX theater on a cruise ship, as well as the Punchliner Comedy Club, Hasbro, the Game Show, and the Warehouse arcade. The ship’s Camp Ocean kids’ club, for children ages 2 to 11, is open daily with its own playgrounds and the Dr. Seuss Bookville themed reading venue.
