Breckenridge, Colorado, known for its family-friendly ski slopes, is enticing families to visit in the summer with Summer Fun Park and its new Kids’ Base Camp.
The Breckenridge Summer Fun Park will open June 12 with its Gold Runner Coaster that races down 2,500 feet on a steel track, its Alpine SuperSlide of three slides down 2,600 feet of track, and its TenMile Flyer Zipline, a two-stage zip line that flies 50 feet in the air. Younger kids will enjoy panning for gemstones, running the Mineshaft Maze, rock climbing walls, bounce houses and bungee trampoline rides. Other summer adventures include 4×4 tours, hiking tours, off-road Segway tours, mountain biking, scenic chairlift rides, and mini golf.
