A recent survey conducted by AAA finds 35 percent of American are planning to take a family vacation in the next 12 months.
The new survey reveals families are planning on travel more than 50 miles for vacation, especially with lower gas prices provoking 55 percent of American to say they will take a vacation due to the savings.
AAA’s survey also revealed the most popular vacations for families are road trips, national parks and theme parks, with international travel and cruising also making the top five.
