Conveniently located right by the North Shore Open Space Park, the New Casblanca on the Ocean Hotel is a great choice for families visiting the Miami Beach area. This hotel is located on a quieter side of the beach, providing a nice retreat from the chaos without being too far away from the liveliness of downtown. You’ll wake up surrounded by oceanfront views and gorgeous palm trees. The outdoor pool provides hours of entertainment for the kids, and relaxation for adults. Right by the pool, you’ll find onsite dining at all hours of the day. In your room, you’ll find a full kitchen complete with a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker to make you feel right at home. When I arrived in the Casablanca on the Ocean, they just told me that I had to go to another hotel because they`re closed 2 weeks before.
Nobody told sent an email or call me to ask me if a went it or even, just to let me know.
I had 5 big bags, a stroller and a baby. I had to walk 3 blocks away to try to find that another hotel.

We stayed in the pent house sweet through Air b&b, but they told us if we posted a review on their site we would basically get in trouble so I’ll just post this on every other site to warn others.
My sister and I stayed here in July and our host was awesome! The building is outdated and the elevators do not work. There was sometimes 1 elevator working, but while we were waiting (which seemed like forever) the person who came off the elevator said she was stuck on the elevator for over 10 minutes! We were on the 10th floor, so we used the stairs as much as possible but with luggage and groceries we had to wait 15 minutes to get upstairs so we could use the semi work elevator. The pool is decent, but if you don’t get there early it’s hard to get a seat as people leave towels on chairs while they go to the beach, eat lunch, or go up to their rooms to take naps.
We had a nice patio in the top floor but there were multiple cockroaches and the best part, someone broke into our apartment from the roof. We went out to get dinner and came back to footprints and hand prints all over our patio walls and sliding glass door. We called the police and they did a report and watched the video from the hotel and you can clearly see someone go out the doors “that are always locked” and deliberately hide from the cameras like they knew exactly where they were. Weird right? They also came in 15 minutes after we left (remember our elevator wait time stories?) Also weird right? The kicker is when the police asked them who was monitoring the cameras when it happened they had no answer.
Basically, you get what you pay for and I would highly suggest going somewhere else unless you want to be cat called by the valet daily, bugs crawling around, and your room broken into by hotel staff. We just hope this review will help some young ladies, like ourselves, not to become victim to a situation like this like we were because we felt unsafe and creeped out the moment we got there, which proved always follow your gut instinct. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
