We have just spent a wonderful week staying and diving at Nakia Resort and Dive. Every Two years a group of old work buddies and their wives, get together to go diving, visiting some of the worlds best venues along the way. This was our second trip to the famous Rainbow Reef and our first visit to Nakia. Having read the many reviews on this resort, we can only agree with the many 5 star reviews. Robyn, Jim, Julie and the wonderful Fiji family are indeed special people, making for a relaxed, pampered experience. Nothing was too much trouble. The diving operation is world class, with some of the most thorough briefings we had experienced anywhere. For good food, diving, accommodation, in a friendly family environment, this is the place.

We spent our first 3 days at the Nakia resort on our once in a lifetime trip to Fiji. We felt like we were staying with close family and were treated like royalty. Robin was a first rate host - always making sure that we had everything we needed. The Fijian cooks and resort staff were the nicest people. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until we were dropped off at the Ferry - our every need was attended to. The food was superb - the best food we had during our trip. The resort owners daughter, Julie, runs the local dive shop (Taveuni Ocean Sports) which is a first rate operation and she is right when she says that diving the rainbow reef is among the best sites in the world!! Robin was able to arrange tours for us to explore Taveuni and we loved every moment of our trip. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Nakia and I have never been so relaxed as I was when I was there- I wish we had stayed longer!!
