Overview

This northern New Hampshire family resort has hit on the perfect formula for entertaining kids and parents alike-provide excellent, warm, and friendly service, and give people lots of amenities and activities to keep them busy. Among them are a heated outdoor pool, eight-person hot tub, fire pit, a moonbounce, and hiking trails on the property. Then, of course, there’s that only-in-NH perk: a “moose map” for self-guided moose tours to spot those antlered bovines in the wild.
Rooms are clean and very comfy, with queen or king beds with pillowtop mattresses and down comforters. They also include large-size refrigerators and 32-inch flat-screen TVs. Some rooms also have mountain views. Suites include separate rooms with queen beds and a pull-out couch, sleeping up to six. As if that’s not enough for the kids, the inn is located right in-between Santa’s Village and Story Land, just 20 minutes from one and 30 from the other-making this the perfect place to stay for those on the toddler theme park circuit.

Was at Mt. Madsion Inn & Suites for a very brief stay in September - hiking the nearby White Mts. The Inn's rooms (suites) were comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. Parking was never a problem even with a full hotel. Proximity to nearby restaurants, attractions, etc was superb. It's not a Ritz but great for our needs.

Very clean, neat rooms. I was pleasantly surprised to have a room that was exactly what I reserved. All too often you book a room at a privately owned Inn or Hotel and you don't get what you thought you were. This place is great. Highly recommend it.
