This place is unique. I say that mainly because of the coffee! They roast their own beans and coffee drinks are on the house! The coffee is top notch. I happen to be a coffee lover and if you are too then you’ll love this place. But there are many other reasons to like it. The breakfast omelette was possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. Neither me nor my daughter could finish ours, so one for two would be adequate unless you are a big eater. The hotel is clean and well appointed, with excellent service provided by the couple who own it. He cooks and roasts coffee, she waits on customers. Lovely atmosphere, felt like being in someone’s home. And right next to the stunningly beautiful Medicine Bow National Forest! I will be back again.

My husband and I recently stayed at Mountain View Inn, using it as a home base while we explored the beautiful Snowy Mountains. It is unbelievably cozy and comfortable, and the cleanest lodging I have seen in recent memory. The suites are spacious, and would also be very comfortable for a family. The food is excellent, prepared and served by the innkeepers themselves. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at the Mountain View Inn if you have a chance!
