We went here for a night to see the lodge where Dirty Dancing was filmed. It was great to see the lodge has remained true to its roots, it's like taking a trip back to an earlier and more simple time. They have placards to show the various filming locations around the lodge and it hasn't changed much. We stayed in the main lodge which was very retro, but also a bit quite as we failed to read the part about no television in the rooms. The restaurant and bar were great, especially the staff. It was a quiet night so they set up supper in front of the fireplace which was awesome. The only dissapointment was the lack of a lake. Apparently the lake has subsided and there is only grass and scrub where the lake used to be.

A must see. So beautyful, and a Place for Fans from nature and whats more important is, Fans from Dirty Dancing. So much things to see from Original Restaurant and a Great Merchandising shop. U love that Film? Visit the Mountain Lake Lodge!
