This family-owned hotel is situated just one block from downtown Gatlinburg and the Ripley’s Aquarium. Families can also hop on the downtown trolley right out front of the hotel. After a day of exploring the town, families can enjoy the two outdoor swimming pools. One is heated and there is a kiddie pool too. The kids can swim and play while the adults can lounge and relax on the surrounding pool deck chairs. A picnic area located near the pool is a nice place for families to enjoy a meal too. The spacious and comfortable guestrooms feature microwave, mini-fridge and a flat screen television. A fireplace and Jacuzzi are also available in some guestrooms. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available throughout the hotel so there is never a concern about staying connected. Guests can find a free coffee bar available 24 hours a day.

Title pretty much says it all. These smaller hotels have really gone downhill over the years. It's Gatlinburg though so plenty of customers.
We got there late (made sure to let them know before) and looking around, I was surprised at how sketchy Gatlinburg could feel at 11pm. I've been coming here for years, and I never got that vibe before. Felt like home at least?
Guy was quick and nice during check-in. We get to the room, and I'm not super impressed, smells of smoke (non-smoking), but we're not picky. We just wanted an inexpensive place to sleep and shower.
Started checking around a little closer, bed especially, and wouldn't you know it: mouse droppings. The mouse/mice were kind enough to put one on each nightstand for us at no extra cost. Checking under the mattress, they even left some more there as well. Talk about service!
Hey we're in the middle of the mountains. Mice happen. But the big issue was that they didn't bother to clean up after them. It being in the open like that told me either the mice were THAT bad there, visiting rooms between guests, or they just don't clean. Check the pictures. They're not going to miss that cleaning a room.
I was really cool about it, we were tired. Told the guy we just couldn't stay there and booked another place. He offered a refund, I didn't even ask for one. But he couldn't process it there, because the computers were down (family-owned). 3 or so weeks out now and never got that refund (family-owned). Not a huge deal. Consider it an $80 lesson to stick with the big-name or higher star hotels. Also take reviews online with a grain of salt, and go with your gut instead. There is a reason this place is so much "cheaper".

This family owned business is awesome! The rates are great and we just love staying here ????. It's walking distance to the Village and the parkway. It has 2 pools: one is spring fed which makes the water colder than usual, the other is a regular pool. We highly recommend this place!!!
