Overview

This is a darling goat haven just outside of downtown Salida. This inn is ideal for families, with all the bonuses from high chairs to a game room, plus a TV room, library and toys; it’s incredible for wee ones. The goats are just the added bonus. Along with the owner, Gina, children can visit with the goats and roam in their acreage. There are family suites, a barn and greenhouse to tour, a hot tub and even retro trailers to rent. This is a very thoughtful and well-designed B&B for families.

a real getaway

amazing place. if we knew how nice it is, we would have stayed longer. a big farm, a big house, a few hosting opportunities, from a room in the main building (which we did) to sleeping in tents in the huge yard. lots of animals and beautiful views all around. amazing host together with cute Victoria made our stay here wonderful. almost forgot: the best breakfast in Colorado!

MOUNTAIN GOAT LODGE WAS GREAT

I loved this place. i was right on the hwy and easy to find. The host was wonderful and helpful. the bed was more comfortable than my own. Coffee and breakfast was terrific. You can walk all over the farm with and the goats will follow you around. It is close to Salida and Beuna vista. And the views from my room were wonderful..
