Totally cool place within walking distance of everything. Nice staff, and lots of things to do at hotel. Breakfast was average, but everything else was outstanding! I will go back to this hotel again. A bonus was that they are dog friendly!

We stopped at this hotel in the wee hours of the morning after trying several hotels for many miles. Hotel clerks were either sleeping or grumpy and not able to accommodate us. We called this hotel on the way, and were impressed with the cheery customer service. The room was colorful and an explosion of the past. Real groovy! The low bed was more comfortable than these high rise beds that take a step stool to get in. The bathroom was bathed in sparkling turquoise tiles. It was great to hear employees in the hall in the morning laughing and having fun at their jobs. Everyone I talked to was great. They went over and beyond my expectations to accommodate our requests. I said we would be working in our room, and they brought a chair over since we had a room with no desk. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Kinston!
