If you’re looking for a budget hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, this newly remodeled motel south of downtown Nacogdoches fits the bill. The standard rooms can contain either a king bed or two full beds, with enough space left over for a crib or rollaway. All suites include a mini-fridge and microwave. There’s no free breakfast, but plenty of free coffee in the lobby. You can walk across the parking lot to one of several fast food eateries that serve breakfast. Families will love the outdoor pool during the summer. Free Wi-Fi is provided, but not a lot of other amenities. That’s why the room rates are so low.
The Motel 6 is located several miles south of the historic downtown district, where you’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants, and attractions, as well as a great little farmer’s market during the spring and summer. Lake Nacogdoches is an easy 20-minute drive from your hotel. The city maintains two parks on the lake where you can fish, picnic, and swim. For more exciting water play, visit the Splash Kingdom Water Park only a few minutes north of downtown. With its low rates and quality accommodations, Motel 6 makes a great choice for your family trip to Nacogdoches.

The room was ok. It did have a mildew smell. I bought an air freshener at the local drug store. The young lady at the front desk was nice. But there was too many people drinking and arguing in the parking lot at night. I didn't feel safe so of course I didn't sleep well. I wouldn't stay here again especially on a weekend. The location is right of of the freeway so easy access.

This hotel was ok however the rooms were fairly clean. I didn't see any bugs but there was a smell of mildew. From what I could tell it looked like two rooms down had flooded. The beds were not terrible. The AC unit made a clicking noise all night which was annoying.
