With its post, beam and glass exterior, wooden furniture and rooms with duvets and fireplaces, Moraine Lake Lodge exudes an “upscale rustic” feel. Rates include complimentary Continental breakfast, afternoon tea, canoe rentals and guided hikes. None of the 33 guest rooms have televisions or telephones, but Internet access is available in the lobby. The lodge has views of Moraine Lake.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this location. Jaw dropping.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing. Tea and cake on arrival. Free guided hiking and canoeing, and nature talks in the evening.
Rooms were beautifully appointed. LOVED IT!
Evening meal a little pricey but worth it for the view. You definitely need to book.

Moraine Lake is beautiful - the blue water! Although a bit overrun with tourists, which is the benefit at staying at the only accommodation at the lake. The easy parking access is also a great advantage given access to the lake is closed early in the day due to overcrowding. The cabins are well done, warm with wood burning fires, porches looking on the lake. The food in the restaurant is excellent with great service. I enjoyed our wait staff from New Zealand (Amber). The hikes around the lodge are beautiful. It is particularly convenient for early morning / sunset photography. Only drawback is the pricetag (~$900+ for room, $150+ for meal).
