Located just steps away from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, the Moose Creek Cabins are also situated near restaurants and shopping. The comfortable and cozy cabins feature a queen bed, television, mini-fridge, a coffee maker, microwave and a private bathroom. The cabins can accommodate two adults and two children. The Family Log Cabin, which can sleep eight people, features a living room and fully equipped kitchen and a queen bed and two twin beds upstairs. Downstairs there is a double bed and bunk beds. So plenty of space for families. There is free parking and the kids will love the free cookies at check-in.

We booked 2 nights, thinking we had one of the cute cabins shown in the offered pictures. Just before we left we found we didn't have one as we were only a single queen. For $50 more than the already $275 we paid per night, we could get a cabin. There are only 4 cabins. When we arrived at this very weirdly separated motel, we were directed to this tiny parking area with giant tree roots and trees pushing thru the lot. In our motel room which was a 12x12 with a 5x5 bath (probably constructed in the 50s) my husband found electrical cords lying on the floor with 3 units plugged in together. Most of their wiring in the bedroom was like this. He had to take the coffee pot to the toilet tank to plug in. He is only 5'10" and had to duck to comb his hair in the mirror. This bathroom is definitely a one bum room! The bedroom had a coat of dust around the carpet edges. We give it one star because the linen was nice and white and the bathroom was clean. Someone is certainly writing good reviews of things we never saw--wonder who they are?

Staff gave us an upgrade to a suite for our anniversary. Nice and clean and quiet. The log cabins looked really neat. Close enough to Main Street to walk and shop. Lots of littel details makes this hotel the place to stay.
