Overview

This boutique inn will transport you to the Mediterranean with its enchanting architecture and decor. Monte Verde Inn’s location makes it easy to walk to Carmel’s beach, restaurants, shops, and art galleries. Other activities are easy to access, such as golfing, whale watching, bike rentals, and horseback riding. The double queen suite has two queen beds and a twin day bed, sleeping up to five people. The suite features a claw foot tub and a walk-in shower. The ocean view condo has a private balcony with an ocean view, a full kitchen, and a queen bed and sleeper sofa that would fit a family.

Better late than Never

The hotel was everything we had heard and read-all positive. Best part of our stay was Randy. He was so helpful, courteous, funny and real. We were 2 gals visiting Carmel again but will always stay at the Monte Verde from now on coming and going from Napa/Laguna Beach.

Cozy Hotel with Exceptional Service

Randy went above and beyond every step of the way, starting with the reservation process, follow up emails with links to restaurants and yoga studios, getting us settled in quickly and helping us navigate the town. We especially loved the wine and cheese at 5pm on the front porch. The room was clean and comfortable. Stacey was also terrific.
