After being on the road for a couple of weeks, staying in chain hotels, it was nice to stay in a locally run place with character. From the moment I arrived until the time of my departure (two days later), every staff member I interacted with was exceedingly pleasant and most welcoming. This former flour mill turned hotel is full of charm. My room was cozy and featured a most comfortable bed. Housekeeping did an excellent job and I was pleasantly surprised to find two complimentary bottles of water and mints! A simple breakfast was included with the nightly rate - cold cereals, coffee/tea, breads, canned peaches and fresh apples...just wish they had yogurt and bananas. Hotel location is great - easy on/off I-90 and under five minutes from historic downtown Sheridan.
