This hotel has a calm, relaxing feel and has a great location. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We were disappointed to find on arrival that the rooftop pool is currently closed as there was no mention of this when we booked. However there is another outdoor pool adjacent to the beach which was very nice, with plenty of sun loungers, cabanas and a small bar. There were also iced water coolers both at the pool and beach, which was a welcome touch. The sun loungers by the pool did look rather mouldy once the cushions were removed and the hotel should think of replacing them for next year. Our bedroom was very comfortable, although the original black and white patterned tiled floor was not to my taste. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The room had all the facilities you would expect including a nespresso machine, fridge/mini bar and safe. Strangely there were no cups or mugs for coffee, but we were able to get some from the bar. We requested a kettle as we like to make tea and this was delivered to the room very quickly. The bathroom was very spacious with a large rainfall shower. There was a turn down service in the early evening and complimentary bottled water was provided. We enjoyed the cocktails at happy hour and it was pleasant sitting on the outdoor terrace. The staff at the reception, pool and beach were all lovely. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job and the rooms and public areas were very clean. We had a late flight on our check out day and we were able to use the spa changing facility to shower and change before leaving. The hotel is in a convenient location, within walking distance of the Lincoln Road area where there are many shops and restaurants and just seconds from the beautiful beach. As others have mentioned, there is construction work going on next door which is unsightly and noisy at times, but we were told this is due to finish soon.
