Located in the heart of historic Mendocino, this full-service hotel overlooks the Mendocino Headlands and Pacific Ocean. Families can easily walk to shops, restaurants, the Ford or Kelly museums or stroll the gorgeous coastal cliffside to get an even better view. The onsite restaurants serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The guestrooms and suites feature a Victorian-feel, some with a fireplace or balcony. Children 12 and under are not permitted to stay in some of the guestrooms and suites so make sure to book rooms that are best suited for families. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available.

Filled with charm

This place exceeded our expectation. The lobby has a fire going in the fireplace (it's November now), lots of tables and sofas to sit down at, free coffee every morning, a wonderful restaurant where we had a great lunch, and an unbeatable location. We could see the Pacific Ocean from our room!

Great historic hotel!

First time staying here. We rented the balcony room, but didn't realize it was a public balcony! Its very warm, no fan or A/C, so we have our door open to the group of strangers milling around... Room is nice, love the old bathroom. Staff is helpful, and friendly.
