Overview

Part of the Vedanta Puerto Vallarta resort, the Mayan Palace Puerto Vallarta welcomes families to its own piece of Mexican paradise. Kids and adults will love the pool area, which contains a large family pool, a plunge pool for kids, and an adults-only pool. Every day, the property hosts poolside activities and classes for all ages. Guests also can participate in a variety of sports or go offsite for golf. When you’re ready to eat, you may have a hard time choosing from the 21 different restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. Accommodations consist of three room types: master room, one-bedroom suite and two-bedroom suite. All suites contain a kitchen.

First day impression

Very good first day. Family vacation is going great. We traveled with a tots party of 6 ( 4 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2)). We arrived around 12 ish and had to wait until 3 for our room (standard arrival time). In the interim, we headed to the pool to spend some time. The staff from reception to pool side was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant (pool side) is perfect for those that don’t want to venture out (burger was great) and portion sizes are very generous. We also spent some time doing the arts and crafts activities with the kids (painted some figures - see pictures). Allison was very helpful to ensure that the kids had everything they needed during the arts and crafts session.
