We stayed at the adjacent property last time we were on Maui and were curious at this little boutique place then. This is a hidden gem of a property that people like to keep secret, I think.
Pros:
Tempur-pedic beds
Good a/c
Loved the walk in shower vs a funky tub
Sweet staff - funny security guard
Beautiful, lush grounds
down to earth guests
Other thoughts:
Walls are pretty thin - we didn't care and neither did our neighbors
I didn't think we'd use the kitchen much - but it was nice and handy for storing things and making simple meals
You will always get a parking spot - but it might take some creativity to get everyone to fit. Don't stress though - they make it work.
People seem to not like the continental breakfast. It was the only thing here I didn't think was amazing, but I didn't expect it to be. If you want a real breakfast walk 100 feet to either the SeaHouse or the Gazebo.

Wow! What a charming hotel in a very special place. The moment I stepped foot on the grounds I fell in love with the bay view, the plants and flowers, the pool, and when I stepped inside the room I was equally awed. The “partial ocean view” room had a great view of the ocean and bay :) Even though the weather was hot, we never needed to use the AC. Listening to the waves at night was so peaceful. The stars were beautiful too. We walked to the Sea House often, the coastal trail early in the morning, snorkeled and swam in the bay which was about one minute away from our room. The hotel fruit and coffee in the morning was splendid while sitting on the lanai. And a full size fridge was a nice benefit. The beach chairs were a plus and easy to carry to where you wished to sit. I preferred under the shade so sometimes had to squeeze between other beach goers. But everyone was very friendly about it. The sunsets, ahhhhh....so much beauty and so much fun in one place!
