Our check-in was delayed because our room wasn't ready so we chose to walk around the area and realised how well located the hotel is that for most things we wanted to visit (fudge store, cheese house, chocolate store etc.) were walking distance. We were given a generous discount on our booking because of the delayed check-in which was a welcome surprise and really showed how much the hotel cared about it's guests and their comfort. The rooms are spacious (ours was city facing and had a little balcony though it was too cold to sit outdoors) and amenities worked well.
The evening 'kick back' offers complimentary beer/wine and light snacks (cheese, olives etc.) this was a nice way to welcome guests. The breakfast was a good spread. There is also a little store just off the front desk selling things like water, chips and hotel souvenirs.
The view from the patio of the hotel is beautiful opens right on to the river and I can imagine how balmy it would be in the summers. We will definitely visit again.

Very clean with breakfast buffet and evening snacks and drinks. Back rooms overlook canal and park. Recommend to all. Frankenmuth is right out the front door/talking distance to all stores and restaurants. We love to go during the Fall months for long weekend. Bonner's is a short drive away.
