First of all, if you need Internet access, DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel wifi was completely horrible the entire time we were there, from Tuesday until Monday, nearly a whole week. It was bad at 6am, at 9am, at 1pm, at 10pm, at midnight. Every day of the week, every time of day, it was bad. Much of the time, it was effectively unusable - web pages might take minutes to try to load and then eventually time out. Running steady pings I found packet loss of 5%-10% during the few "good" times, and 50%-80% more than half the time. So you are warned: Consider this hotel as if it does not offer Internet service at all. I ended up using a hotspot from my phone to do a few things on the computer, but that uses up a lot of cell data.
The best thing about this hotel was the very very large room, with a full kitchen - plenty of counter space, full sized fridge with freezer, etc. Dishes, dish soap, and a few other things are provided. Sadly no toaster or toaster oven, but there is a microwave and a cooking range and full sized oven.
Price was quite reasonable, on the lower end for what I'd expect.
Location is also quite good for Key Largo. You can walk to a large dive equipment store, a couple of convenience stores, a couple of banks, a large walgreens, a dollar store, etc. There's a marina right behind the hotel, and a small city park nearby as well.
Minor inconveniences include a very slow elevator (we were on the 5th floor, so we needed to use it when checking in and out, but took the stairs the rest of the time), not enough power outlets around the room, and insufficient lighting. Although there are glass doors which could let a lot of light in, they open right onto a walkway so unless you want to be completely exposed, you have to keep the shutters closed all the time, which means you effectively have no windows at all.
Parking at the hotel is nearly always full in the evening until midmorning. They have overflow parking at a nearby restaurant, where the lot never filled up, but it's a bit too much of a walk with heavy suitcases. It's fine at other times, just a few minutes walk away.
Breakfast is included, but very meager. Checked it out and mostly didn't bother with it from then on.
Front desk is only open 6am-10pm. I arrived after 10pm and everything was dark and they told me to drive to the Holiday Inn to check in and get my key. You can actually walk to the Holiday Inn, but it's hard to figure out how to in the dark (you have to walk behind some other buildings and through the marina or another hotel's yard), and they didn't mention that there's a walking route, so I had to get back on US-1, and then turn around on US-1 to get back. Also, even when the front desk is open, they seem to only have one person on duty for any shift, which means if they have anything to help another guest with and leave the front desk, you might find it unattended and just wait around for 10+ minutes wondering where they are, which happened to me one of the two times I wanted something from the front desk.
Overall, though, because of the good location, very large room with kitchen, and fairly low price, I would have given this hotel a higher rating were it not for the fact that they claim to provide Internet service and then don't. I expected Internet, I booked with that expectation, and then was stuck with effectively no Internet. Not acceptable, IMO.

Stayed here for 2 nights , we arrived around midnight as our flight from LHR-MIA was cancelled then delayed ...thanks BA !
Phoned ahead as we knew desk would be closed and we got our keys at Holiday Inn nearby .
This is not a 5 star hotel and doesn’t pretend to be , the rooms are very clean although basic and beds are super comfy .
Location is ideal on the water sandwiched between two pub / restaurants , overall a decent stay on our way to key west .
