At this waterfront property, the kids will love the rooftop water playground that includes a lazy river, waterslides and swimming pool. If the weather turns bad or you want a break from the sun, head inside to the entertainment center filled with arcade games, a ropes course and more. There’s also a large selection of onsite dining, shopping and live entertainment available.

If you have a family with kids under 13, you will love this place...or better stated, they will. On their second floor, they have a space as big as a couple of football fields stocked with nothing but video games, virtual reality experiences, and other games that they'll love. For the parents, stop by "Doe's Eat Place" just above the kidnasium. I HIGHLY recommend the tamales although Doe's is more know for their thick cut steaks. There are other bars and restaurants located on the property. The facility is also pet friendly. Room prices are also very reasonable considering they have free valet parking (if you're a guest) and you're right on the Gulf. We had a beautiful view to wake up to even though we got a standard king room. That's the good. The "bad" is for people who aren't fond of kids. The rooms are nowhere near sound-proof and you'll hear screaming kids and occasionally screaming adults. We were on the 18th floor and found the hallways decorated with multiple large stains that hotel maintenance should have addressed long ago. The check-in process is a bit confusing. When you walk in the resort from the parking garage, there's a huge sign saying that check in is on the 10th floor...however, thanks to some people already staying there, we were pointed to a check in location in the garage area. Our room was mostly clean but could have done with some paint in the bathroom area. We couldn't get our door deadbolt to work and I've seen other reviewers make that same point. Given the craziness of the world today, a deadbolt lock on the door seems like a simple thing that should work. The weather had turned chilly on us and the bed only had a sheet and a very thin comforter. We didn't realize the comforter was so thin until very late when we got in and just decided to snuggle close to conserve body heat since it was only a one night stay. And while this is not the Margaritaville resort's responsibility, the casino next door is very, very smoky even though there are signs posted all around that say "No Smoking or Vaping."

We visited this place twice this weekend and I have to say it never gets old. It’s a little pricey but worth it for the kids! The staff was super friendly and it was very clean. We will definitely be making another trip soon!
