Overview

Located inside the Bali Safari & Marine Park, the Mara River Safari Lodge offers travelers spacious rooms that can accommodate families in an excellent location for families. The Kifaru and Tembo Rooms are designed with families of up to four people in mind. The hotel has a number of family-friendly amenities that are provided on a complimentary basis. These amenities include babysitting, cribs, Wi-Fi and breakfasts. An outdoor swimming pool is available for guests of all ages to use. Guests may dine onsite at the Tsavo Lion or the Uma Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

My favourite in Bali

I was so surprised by the Safari lodge! My partner initially stayed here because we wanted to go to the safari park and didn't like the look of any nearby accommodation. We decided to stay here on a whim, and had the most amazing stay. The safari park was great (the animals looked very well kept and had plenty of room), and the facilities were good. The staff (especially a lady named Ayu in the lion restaurant) were exceptional. We had to depart early in the morning to catch a ferry, and the staff were so kind and helped us pack food for the day. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Disgusting

Was looking forward to bringing my children to have this amazing experience but it was killed by them deciding to block any of the animals coming near our room for my children to feed. They set up a barrier for construction and left a small note on a piece of paper under other items tucked away in a corner saying this would happen!!! NOTHING MENTIONED AT CHECK IN!!! NOTHING MENTIONED WHEN THEY BROUGHT THE BAGS TO THE ROOM AND THEY WERE SAYING THE CARROTS IN THE ROOM WERE FOR FEEDING THE ANIMALS!!! It’s disgusting that they can take your money saying they are going to offer an amazing experience and then they do this!! What a way to spoil a holiday. Will not be back and will not recommend.
