My first experience at Mandalay Bay was amazing several years ago. I had an amazing room and the service was great. It was for the same meeting. The restaurant food was good this trip but the room was noisy and just OK.

The Mandalay Bay is a classic very large Las Vegas luxury hotel with all of the amenities expected. The rooms are very large and well appointed with spectacular views. Cleanliness is perfect, as is the furniture and equipment in the room.
I have stayed at most of the hotels on the Strip over the years and this is one of the quieter places with helpful staff.
The four star rating is due to the usual Las Vegas hotels practices, namely:
No coffee or water in the room, everything has to be paid for (=expensive minibar)
Check-in process is slow and inefficient, event at off-times -use the app if possible
Rooms are far and you must cross the casinos
Parking is no longer included
The resort fee should be included in the room price, you never know what you will pay in the end
