My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding at Malliouhana, an Auberge Resort in Anguilla I’m July 2019. I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were all beautiful. Our large family all thought they had the best room. When does that happen. The staff was the most helpful, efficient and friendly. I would say the service was extraordinary by everyone. The food from breakfast to dinner was delicious. We stayed several days and the service continued to be excellent. The beach was fun and the pool absolutely delightful. The wedding was gorgeous with the ocean backdrop and dinner fabulous. Dancing under the stars was the best until the fireworks announced the end. The fireworks were crazy. Wow!!! What a venue for a wedding. If you want a casual, intimate and elegant affair, the Malliouhana is perfect for you.

Spectacular from the moment you pull up to the lobby. The mirrored mosaic marble floor, the antique diving helmets and yellow ruffled beach umbrellas set an eclectic tone for a resort that is many things wrapped into one. It is extremely high end featuring 5 star service and amenities. It is also casual and down to earth with an incredible array of poolside cocktails. The Soleil-Rita with don julio reposado, cointreau, passion fruit, lime, citrus-passion flower espuma can spark a fire in an otherwise lazy afternoon. One hits the third and fourth quicker than one realizes.
We were travelling with our two tweens which worked out to be equally appropriate to visiting as honeymooners or frequent returning couples. The beach on Meads bay is spectacular -- crystal clear turquoise water and some of the softest sand we have ever walked on. The resort has complimentary snorkle gear, SUP, sailboats and more. The pools and cabanas are beautiful, quiet, pristine and yet they feature a European rustic style.
I recommend this property profusely. Thank you to the tremendous staff for making our stay so memorable. The service was exceptional. While I love Anguilla, there is really no reason to leave the grounds of this resort during your visit to the island.
