We had a wonderful day hiking and sight seeing. We thought we would treat ourselves and go out for a nice dinner so we decided to try MacCallum House. We arrived early and went to the bar for a cocktail before dinner. That was a mistake. We were met by one of the most unfriendly bartenders that we have ever had attend to us. Very rude and very unpleasant. Quite a b...h. We have been to a lot of fine restaurants and have never been treated this way. One would think that if you represent an establishment you would treat your customers a little better. Perhaps she was one of the owners and thought she could get away with it? Perhaps she just had a bad day? In any event, it "left a bad taste in our mouths". The restaurant and our server was fine but we do not plan to go back.
Damn near ruined our day.

Enjoyed staying in town! We were in a loft which was quite nice...clean and comfortable! Quiet but easy walking to shops and restaurants! Recommend staying here! Checking in was easy, they were very accommodating as I made this reservation the
Night before arrival!
