I knew the first day I had booked the wrong hotel. My husband and I are both older and retired. This hotel is ideal fir families. The hotel itself was very nice and very clean. The rooms are a bit dated but it is having an upgrade in January. I am dairy free so there was limited choice with food , but that’s the same wherever I go. However when you speak to restaurant management they organise someone to go round all the food and explain what you can and can’t eat. I had a lad called Michael who was very good at explaining ingredients and how everything was cooked. I spoke to our rep Lee about changing hotels as this one was too loud and busy for us. Lee was amazing , did everything possible and managed to get us moved to a much quieter hotel which suited better. I can’t speak highly enough of Lee. He always called when he said he would, recommenced other hotels and organised transfers etc.

I booked this holiday a couple of months ago and after all the positive reviews and with so much on offer for our Little girl we decided to go with Louis Phaethon Beach.

When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed with a drink and taken down to the restaurant so we were able to eat after our journey which was well needed.
When we were taken to our room, I had opted for a Sea View but unfortunately I didn’t feel that the room offered much of a sea view so I called reception as I felt slightly disappointed by this and I then went down to reception and was able to see the Manager. He was fantastic and offered me two rooms to look at and within 20 minutes we were in another room.

The rooms are slightly dated and a little small but it’s only a place to sleep, everything was very clean and that was all that mattered to us.

I cannot recommend Louis Phaethon enough the customer service was truly amazing and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff any questions/request we had were accommodated and everyone went above and beyond. We have recently got engaged and when we arrived at dinner one evening there was a congratulations letter, balloons and a bottle of Champagne, such a lovely touch and meant so much to us.

The facilities were fantastic and our two year old had such a wonderful time the child’s pool was perfect for her and being November it was quiet meaning she was able to really relax and enjoy herself without too many people around. She loved the Children’s Disco and had a ball every evening dancing and joining in with the games.

Lastly the food well where do I start my boyfriend is a Chef and he was so impressed with the selection and how tasty everything was when you are cooking for such a huge number of people. We all enjoyed the food and there was something for everyone. The Chinese at Lunch time too well this was just delicious and the best Chinese I have ever had.

My only advice don’t forget Mosquito Spray!

I cannot praise the hotel enough and will definitely return. All the staff are wonderful and definitely know how to look after guests. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. ☺️
