Los Laureles Lodge is Carmel Valley’s oldest hotel, steeped in Californian history. The historic influences-Spanish conquistadors, Native Americans, cowboys, and socialites-can be felt throughout the property. Attached to the lodge is a restaurant and saloon with a variety of reasonably priced meals. Los Laureles Lodge is ideal for large families. The king suite can be connected to the adjacent surrey lane room to create a two-bedroom suite that sleeps four. The Hill House sleeps up to nine people and includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining area, and a deck. The lodge has an outdoor pool that is opened seasonally.

We were definitely pleased. Our room was large, two comfortable chairs, bed was nice, extra bed if needed. Place is dated but comfortable and reasonable. A surprise was that coffee in the room was real ground coffee and a small coffee mate brew pot. There was even half and half in the fridge. Nice addition, coffee how I like it.
There was reportedly, brewed coffee with a continental breakfast available at 8am. Middle of the day for us. But do not despair, go to Jeffery’s. (Another review.)

We love going here, the service, cocktails & food are awesome, the staff is always super friendly and always seeing if you need anything else, they don't have happy hour, but they are not shy to make it up by volume.
