Located downtown, this boutique hotel is perfect for the fitness family. Guests have access to the 88,000-square-foot fitness facility where Olympic athletes have trained. There is an indoor pool, basketball court, squash, racquetball and handball facilities and an indoor track. But if that’s not enough to get the family heart rate up, there are plenty of fitness classes, like yoga, hip hop and kickboxing. Or hop on a stationary bike in the cycling theater and try a spin class. The 72 guestrooms and one-bedroom suites, which have a separate living room, offer free Wi-Fi and a free American breakfast buffet is offered.

This might be my fault, as I might have missed it when I was booking on their website, but this hotel is OLD. And I can see why some people might find that "old-style" appealing. The interiors are quite pretty, and very well-maintained, but it's got that "old-style" vibe that was definitely not for me. The rooms lack modern accessories, with bad lighting, and plugs are hard to find. I only chose this because of the gym, which actually closes early and opens late during the weekend, so I could not even take advantage of it.
I was also disappointed by the "breakfast", that I thought would be much better reading the reviews here. They only had a couple very standard boring choices, and I found out only when I left the hotel that they were charging extra for.. coffee? That's weird I'm sorry.
Overall it is very expensive for what it is. With the same budget you can find much better and more modern hotels in DTLA.

We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon trip.
The location is good, knowing that it is Better to have a car to go around in LA.
The receptionists were very helpful when it comes to helping us with the rental, guidances and recommendations. They even gave us an upgrade, a bottle of wine and a basket full of goodies.
The room was spacious, well decorated. They hotel itself give the impression of being in a Hollywood movie ( this hotel was featured in many movies).
The breakfast wasn’t up to the exception but you can find the essentials.
