We are into our second day here at a Lonesome Duck and I couldn’t wait to review it as it is simply stunning.
It is a cute : nicely proportioned 2 bedroom wooden corsage on the bank of the Williamson river.
It is spotlessly clean, nicely updated and very comfortable.
After driving around vast areas of Oregon, we needed a place to chill and this one is idyllic.
We we’re blessed by beautiful weather as well.
The only downside is the lack of eateries just now.
DO NOT EAT AT THE CASINO. IT IS UNBELIEVABLY BAD .Try JJs for cheap eats and friendly service.

We loved our stay at the Lonesome Duck. Great cabin right on the water - rustic chic with all the amenities - perfect setting for morning coffee and/or sunset glass of wine. We saw lots of birds and other wildlife (including the horses and llama next door), went kayaking, hiked around the area, and of course visited Crater Lake. A truly exceptional stay.
