Overview

Located in Ponte Vedra along the east coast of Florida, The Lodge and Club at Ponte Vedra Beach is part of the Ponde Vedra Beach Resorts that include the Inn & Club. (ADD LINK) The Lodge & Club is considered more of a boutique resort as it is smaller than the Inn & Club, with 66 guestrooms. However, the facilities at this oceanfront golf resort do not disappoint.
Kids will love the waterslide and splash pad at the pool and the white sandy beach is only steps away from the beautiful accommodations. The spacious guestrooms and suites feature a fireplace and fully equipped kitchenette. And the onsite restaurants offer excellent dishes with even better views.

Despite some of its renovations this resort hotel still feels a little worn , but like one's favorite sweater you can't beat it ,that's part of the attraction . The staff are as attentive and efficient as ever even although the computers were down when we checked in .We were in an Ocean View 2nd floor room and just able to see sunrise from our balcony. I liked the fresh citrus decor but the opulent ,heavy, oversized dark wood furniture felt dated and out of place. The spacious bathroom was perfect. The adult pool and hot tub are oceanfront delights. The beach bar and bistro has a great view over Ponte Vedra Beach. We ate dinner in the Ponte Vedra Inn , the sister resort hotel at the unbeatable Seahorse Grille , but had breakfast in the rotund Seaview Grille on site at the Lodge.Again unbeatable oceanfront views . I had a massive stack of banana flapjacks and a peach smoothie . Well done and well presented traditional breakfast fare. Hotel guests have the use of the gym and pool across the road and all classes are available. There is an area for kids to play with a waterslide and splash station and a separate lap swimming area. There is a separate hot tub sauna and steam room in the changing facility. If you want relaxed understated quiet elegant luxury this is the place to come.

Celebrating 25th wedding anniversary here. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Room was very nice and clean. Terrific Ocean View. Service was along the lines of what you would expect for a property of this type. We took advantage of the couples massage at the spa which was nice and it included a couple suite for an hour before the massage. We were there through the week so we had an opportunity to take advantage of the Wednesday night 2 for 1 Lobster special in one of their restaurants. which was a big disappointment. If you like lobster do not go to that restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else. If you stay here I don't think you'll be disappointed. There is a gym with the steam room and sauna with a jacuzzi in locker room with free aerobics classes, Zumba, and water aerobics that are included with your rate.
Family Activities
Beach
Families are only steps away from the white sandy Florida beaches when staying at the Lodge & Club. Beach chairs, umbrellas, paddle boards and kayaks can all be rented to enjoy on the sand and in the Atlantic Ocean. A beachfront patio, located near the guestrooms, features a firepit that's great for an evening of family time.
Pools
Two heated swimming pools, an adults-only lap pool and a family pool can be found at the Lodge & Club. The large family pool offers more splashing opportunities than the Inn & Club family pool. There is a large waterslide, splash pads and buckets and kid fountains in the zero-entry portion of the pool. Lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas surround the pool deck so everyone always has a seat. Pool towels are provided and lifeguards are on duty, in season.
Kids Camp and Activities
Throughout the year, several children's activities take place at the resort. Fun pajama or pizza parties, teen dance parties, scanvenger hunts, arts and crafts, cooking classes, movie nights and games galore are always happening around the resort and parents just need to check the rotating schedule.
At the Inn & Club and in the summer months, a summer camp for ages 4 to 12 is available for nine weeks. Camp involves theme weeks and lots of outdoor and indoor time. Three sessions (full day, morning or afternoon) are available. Kids can learn about sea turtles and watch them nest, create a craft, build a sandcaste or decorate a cake during camp. Kids who are staying at the Lodge & Club could easily enjoy the summer camp activities at the Inn & Club.
Recreation
Families will find 15 clay tennis courts a short distance away at the Inn & Club. Tennis camps are available to children in the summer months and junior lessons are always available by appointment. Bicycles are available to rent, as well.
Fitness Center
The fitness center offers numerous cardio and weight machines, personal trainers and a plethora of fitness classes -- more than 50 offered each week -- which are all included in the resort fee at no additional cost. The more expansive fitness center at the Inn & Club is also available to guests.
Family Dining
There are two wonderful restaurants at the Lodge & Club and even more restaurants at the Inn & Club that guests can enjoy.
Oasis
This oceanfront bistro features outdoor seating (covered and uncovered) for lunch and dinner. Salads, sandwiches, tacos and flatbreads are some of the items listed on the menu. The kids' menu includes hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese and chicken fingers. The Oasis is open daily from the spring through the fall.
Seaview
Located above the Oasis, the indoor restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and includes a vegan and gluten-free menu. Seafood, steak and pasta are a few of the items available as you dine overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A specific kids' breakfast menu is available and includes things like French toast sticks, sand dollar pancakes, omelets and fruit.
Barefoot Bistro
Located poolside, this makeshift food truck offers salads, sandwiches and ice cream -- perfect to enjoy by the pool.
Tea By the Sea
Offered in the hotel's lobby from 3 to 4 p.m. on weekdays, kids and adults alike will love to sip on a cup of tea at the Lodge & Club. Tea, finger sandwiches and pastries make for a quintessential tea -- by the sea.

All About the Extras
Resort Fee
The one-time resort fee includes Wi-Fi, parking, fitness center classes and the kids club (some additional kids' club fees may apply). Guests from either the Lodge & Club or the sister property the Inn & Club, which is about a mile down the road, can use the all of the facilities at either property.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi access, included in the resort fee, can be found throughout the resort.
Babysitting
The Nursey, which is a staff-supervised room filled with games and toys, is available as a babysitting facility for three hours each day, at an hourly fee. The Nursey located at the Lodge & Club is somewhat smaller compared to the Nursery at the Inn & Club, but still fun for the kids and convenient for parents.
Parents can drop the kids off while they attend a fitness class or spend some time at the pool. Break up the hours throughout the day and enjoy an adults-only dinner, too. Parents must stay on the resort property and scheduling a reservation is recommended. Children from ages 6 months to 12 years are welcome at the Nursey.
Parking
A large parking garage is available and valet parking is included in the resort fee.
The Art of Smart Timing
The busiest time of year at the Ponte Vedra Beach Resorts is the summer season between March and August. But for anyone from a chillier part of the world, Ponte Vedra offers warmer month a majority of the year.
Getting There
Jacksonville International Airport is about 40 minutes away from the resort. Ponte Vedra is located on the East Coast of Florida along the Atlantic coastline and is about 40 minutes north of St. Augustine.
Getting Around
The resort is large, but walkable. However, depending where your room is located and how much you plan to carry to the beach, pool or other resort spots, guests can easily call a bellman to take you wherever you would like to go. A bellman will be happy to transport guests by golf cart anywhere on the resort, as well as to the sister resort the Inn & Club, about 5 minutes down the road.
For Mom and Dad
Spa
Located closer to the Inn & Club, the spa is housed in its own 30,000-square-foot building. The magnicfiently relaxing spa offers more than 100 treatment services, including massages, facials, manicure and pedicure and other treatments. There is a therapy grotto that allows for instant relaxation, a pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi as well. Couples and Friendship Suites are also available. Reservations are recommended.
Golf
Adults will be in awe of green at Inn & Club. There are two, 18-hole golf courses (par 4 and 5) for adults to enjoy as well as a driving range. Clubs can be rented, purchased or shipped ahead of time to the resort.
Adults-Only Pool
It's adults-only at the heated laptop pool.
