This is our group’s (15-20 divers) 3rd time at LCBR. And it did not disappoint! The staff were all extremely welcoming. The rooms were clean, the dive shop ready and willing to help in every capacity, the new camera shop was well utilized by a couple of us, and the dining was exceptional!! Love the new spacious dining room! The bar was on point each night! And the diving was phenomenal! The dive crew/guides of REEF DIVERS were more than a little knowledgeable. They put us onto wonderful dive site after wonderful dive site! Karolina and Phil were the absolute best!!! We live the valet diving that provided and the family atmosphere that ensues on this island! We will return next year and check out the sister island of Cayman Brac with the Reef Divers!

Valet diving means you walk to the back of the boat put on your fins and dive master brings your BCD and tank to you. Reverse when returning to boat. You can even take BCD off in water. This is like assisted living for scuba divers. I was with a group of 19 so we had a Newton 46 to ourselves for all dives. Two in morning one in afternoon. Dive master changes out tanks. Night dive offered twice a week if enough divers sign up. Water was 89 at 100 feet. Reef Diver policy is very conservative maybe due to ages and some out of shape divers. That said, as long as we had a buddy we could either go off on our own or stay with dive master. We chose to go on our own to avoid the inevitable grouping for a photo op. Great swim throughs and long tunnels. Went down one and came out at 120 feet (not necessarily good on Nitrox but no problem as we moved up immediately). I can't recall being anywhere with so little current. Timing is everything.
Rooms are large with good storage and clean. We had a pool view room next to bar. Noise was not a problem as it gets pretty quiet after 9:30 PM. Everything is pretty close to dive shop and dock. Drying room next to dive shop.
Food was plentiful and advertised as "gourmet". Probably the best on this small island but you will have to judge if its gourmet. Drink package available for $200 (21 drinks). Liquor store within walking distance (or take one of their free bikes) if you want to buy beer or liquor for your room refrigerator .
