Firstly please note I booked through Expedia and their listing is not accurate. There is no private washroom. There is no AC (moreover there is no fan to keep cool during a hot summer night). The bed mattress was broken (slanted to the side) on top of being very uncomfortable (i.e. could feel every spring poking into my back all night long). This was the worst sleep I have had since I can remember during my 31 year life. Do not trust Expedia's listing. Do not stay at this hotel.
To be fair I will also comment on the positives that I encountered. The owner is enthusiastic, super friendly and knows how to cook moist and delicious scrambled eggs. The rooms and washrooms were clean (albeit in a dire need of updating). However, none of these positives allowed me to get a good night sleep.
P.S. DriveOverFly's review (of only 1-star) is very accurate. I regret not paying more attention to that review.

The beds were old and soft. Our room was freezing. They were generous enough to have a small electric heater place in the room. BUT there was only one plug-in. So only one of us could charge our phone!
Flies everywhere! Especially in the bathrooms.
Overpriced. We paid $55 each! So this was a $110 room. Crazy! I was expecting way more for that price. Luckily Rally of the Tall Pines paid for half. And breakfast was $12 for 2 eggs, bacon (which they ran out of), and toast. Twelve dollars! Oh, and I got a hair in my eggs too. We went to a higher-end restaurant our second morning and paid $6.
Go in expecting a 2 star hostel otherwise you will be disappointed. This ain't no 4 star lodge. Go stay in an Airbnb for half the price and make your own breakfast. You could buy everything organic and still save money.
Some positive notes: The owner was very nice and was able to serve breakfast in a timely manner. Towels were replaced promptly. Bathrooms were fairly clean other than the flies of course.
