Tons of inns and hotels in Chincoteague but almost none allow dogs - so we stayed here. It's an older building but satisfied our needs - simple, quiet, and clean, and had excellent hot water and water pressure was strong. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Room has a minifridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The area feels extremely safe however the door automatically locks behind you for additional peace of mind. They also have outdoor seating with a grill area as well as cornhole. Would absolutely stay here again!
The innkeepers are nice; they seem to be a couple - the only uncomfortable part was making the reservation. When I first called a few weeks ago it was in the morning hours and the gentleman answered. He seemed to be on a cell phone and couldn't do anything to help me because he wasn't at the computer. I had to call in the evening and spoke to a nice lady who handled my reservation, yet the deposit didn't go through and I didn't receive the confirmation email so I had to call back again a few days later. It all worked out fine though as our stay was pleasant and they seemed friendly and welcoming in person.

The innkeeper, Chris was so helpful and kind. His recommendations for restaurants were perfect. It's often difficult to find a pet friendly motel as nice as this . Microwave, the fridge complete the fair pricing.
