Location is outstanding! Close to Central Park, Broadway, 5th Ave, and the subway is right outside. Decor is nice, but wouldn't call it a 4-star hotel. Had to call in and request for house slippers. Robe, fridge and mini-bar are absent. Housekeeping also knocks on your door around 9am only to say they will come back later. She was doing this to neighboring rooms too -- knocks on our doors to let us know she's cleaning soon. Found it bizarre, and annoying since I enjoy sleeping in on vacation. Won't recommend if you want to have down time in the room you're paying for, or hang that do not disturb sign on your first night!!

Toilet in bathroom leaking sewage. Told breakfast was included. It was not and while it was amazing, it was EXPENSIVE. Location is good and some of the staff were great, others the opposite. Very inconsistent experience. No coffee maker in room ?? And no free coffee in lobby -- not what you'd expect from a hotel of this supposed caliber.
