were gonna be arriving early (10am) so just planned to drop our bags off and get some breakfast.
no one was home at the hotel - rang the bell - nothing - called one of the numbers on the door (wrong number) - driver said "this hotel appears to be closed" - i peaked at the pool and thought "looks a mess - looks deserted maybe he was right" - called another number and this dude was like - cool - i'll be there in 15 minutes - OOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK..............
had a nice long breakfast with our luggage ???? - lugged the luggage back up and lo and behold random dude was there ready to check us in
after a TON of confusion re: payment ~ rando gave us keys
the room was awful - but very large. apparently someone had purchased all the belongings in my grandmothers house from the 1980's when she passed and drove them down here to room 1C ~ dreadfully old decor and comfort to match
the last straw was the "prison shower" ~ i told my friend "this is what i had imagined a mexican prison shower would look like
there was no one to check out to (rando dude must've been sleeping somewhere or offsite) so i just left
booked me a room at the lovely 7 crown centro - sweet lil' pool and all
as i do with all x-girlfriends where it didn't work out
i wish Las Gaviotas Resort all the best
