We found this hotel/beach location while reading about beaches to visit while your cruise ship is in port. We took a cab to this hotel and we weren't disappointed. The use of the the beach was free, Beach chairs, tables and umbrellas was $40 plus whatever we spent on food and drinks. The hotel lets you use their restrooms, showers, etc. We spend about twenty bucks on beers and soft drinks, no food, but our waiter Darien was still very attentive and helpful. There were 15 of us (7 kids) and everyone had a great time, arrived back at the cruise ship exhausted and ready for dinner. We would return to this location anytime. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel many times since 1989 , I even bought a timeshare in 2006. This time I paid extra to get a suite also . Jaimee said nothing was ready after an hour I asked again. He said they were cleaning the room , two more hours later at 5:30 pm I went up and he said he could give me a room in the third floor and it was done. He was laughing each time I went up to the desk . I got to my room and the bell boy who has been there for years said he hoped I would be ok. To cut it short it was directly over the band in the bar and the extremely loud music went til 2:00. The next morning I went down to the desk and the young lady was there not Jaimee and I told her about it and she saw I had paid for a suite and she put me in a brand new updated suite that hadn’t even been used yet . She was an angel. Jaimee and I had had problems the year before with the room he gave me so I can only assume he was giving me a hard time. The hotel was not even half ful so the constant checking for rooms that he did was a joke . But i had the most wonderful suite and time for a month . It’s all in who you get at the front desk.
