The LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort Naples offers luxury on the beach and green. Enjoy one of the 189 guestrooms and suites, all with queen or king beds, flat-screen TV’s, coffee makers, safes, complimentary Wi-Fi and mini-bar refrigerators. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request. The resort has a pool, with poolside cabanas for rent, water sport rentals and a kids club, all which make family fun at the resort easy. The Kids Camp offers fun activities, like Tug-O-War, sand castle building, nature walks, surfing, pool games and beach fun. It is open every Saturday from June to August from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and costs $30 per child. The Coach B’s Beach Camp is for children 6 to 14 and offers fun at Delnor-Wiggins State Park. The cost is $50 per child and lunch is not provided. If in need of childcare outside of the camp times, babysitting services can be arranged with 24-hour notice.
The resort has three dining options, including room service. Baleen Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus cocktails and adult beverages. It is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Although no kids’ menu, there are kid-friendly options like burgers (though it is slightly on the expensive side). The Tiki Bar is located near to the pool and is open for lunch and snacks daily from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
