Overview

At Landmark, rooms are clean and spacious with two plush beds, a private balcony, refrigerators and microwaves and free wireless Internet. Efficiencies feature a large bed with a sleeper sofa for the kids. Soft, light colors and tropical patterns compliment the beach that is outside your window. Landmark has an onsite waterpark with wading pools, waterfalls, bucket dumps, rain tree umbrellas and jet tunnels. It is a water wonderland for children. The hotel also has indoor and outdoor pools. Guests who enjoy dryer activities can play on the 9-hole putt putt course or visit the arcade. A children’s activity program runs through the warmer seasons and centers on watery fun. Casual dining is standard at the resort. Gazebo Restaurant serves buffet-style meals for breakfast and dinner, while The Pub Lounge offers light fare for lunch. A poolside ice cream parlor and pizza shop is sure to please younger family members.

Wouldn’t stay again

The hotel was fine for the price. The staff literally had ZERO customer service skills. The power was out for hours and they acted like they didn’t care who it inconvenienced. I have two small kids and it was a horrible experience. A girl was trapped on elevator and the maintenance just was unconcerned with it until I called 911. Then we had asked a few staff members about the outage and they just looked at us and walked away. Very rude. My son is now terrified of elevators & thinks he will become trapped if he goes on one. This trip was for his 8th birthday celebration & it turned out to be a horrific experience for him. Which makes this mother very furious. They put other guests up at a sister hotel and when I asked the same be done for us they told me it’ll just be a few more hours and since I was checking out in the morning I didn’t need to move. I had a 15 hr drive home with two small kids and potentially no sleep in store for me. Finally after complaining and pleading they got us a room. We got to carry our luggage down 15 flights of stairs in the dark after rummaging through our room to gather our things. We ended up having to come back to get the rest because we couldn’t see anything. We also spilled our only baby formula we had and my breast milk from the fridge was ruined. The people seriously need to find new jobs if they don’t put customers and guests interests first. I didn’t pay $400+ for my sons birthday to become a nightmare. NEVER AGAIN!

Sherman was here a year ago and helped us tremendously and is very friendly.. this year my husband and I stopped here for a few days to stay before taking off to Ireland for our honeymoon.. Sherman and his team once again treated us like family.. We will definitely be staying again!
