Overview
by Jeff Bogle
Opened in 1930 and refurbished completely in 1995, this downtown boutique hotel offers visitors to Marquette and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula a rarified air of elegance. Standard hotel rooms with a pair of queen beds or the two room suite with a king bed, living room, sofa and a pair of bathrooms will suit most families. Rooms include a Keurig coffeemaker, iHome clock and iPad docking stations, along with a mini-refrigerator (in the suite). Wi-Fi is free at this upscale hotel as is parking, but there is no free breakfast and no swimming pool making the Landmark Inn a destination hotel more likely to appeal to families with older children who will appreciate the downtown location and not miss the waffle maker or indoor pool.
